Harry Ettridge fought last Saturday after a lay off due to an injury sustained in his last fight in london.  He was matched against Jonny Chapelow from the Hanuman gym in Darlington.

Harry managed to get himself in an excellent frame of mind before the fight and looked really “in the zone” on his entrance to the ring.  His Wai Kru was performed exceptionally positively and this is how he began the fight.

He landed a punch and kick combination almost straight away and began to reposition himself to his left.  As the action continued he found himself with a situational advantage to Jonny’s left which gave him a clear view of his opponents chin and landed a perfect right overhand punch followed by a left kick as his target fell.  A third left kick was on its way but Harry pulled it before it landed on his almost grounded foe.

Jonny took a while to recover but thankfully regained his feet after a couple of minutes.  A terrific win for Harry who continues to impress as he forges on with his increasingly promising career.
