Duncan and Harry win

Duncan defends English Pro-Am Title and Harry wins International Contest

Duncan successfully defended his English Pro-am Title against Andy Hughes from the Spartan Camp.  The fight was very competitive throughout although Duncan’s relentless style put constant pressure on Andy, and Duncan took the win on points.

Harry fought his first international opponent last Sunday in Manchester.  The contest was over 3 rounds with full pro-am rules against the veteran German Khemissi Chennini.

The contest began with Chenini, the shorter stockier man, looking to pressure and use big hooks.  However Harry was undaunted and stood his ground landing some good left body kicks.  Chenini then landed a great right hook which forced Harry to check.  He also took a high kick from the German but then landed a terrific left jab which pushed his opponent back.  Harry pressed the attack and in a furious exchange landed a left hook which finished the fight at 1.44 minutes of the first round.

Well done to both guys.

They will next be in action on the Kao Loi Show at the Manhattan Club on April 15th along with Guy Hickson, Andy Quirk, Sarah Gibbs, Doroteo Perez, and Harry Brecken.
