Kris Addis continued his development and quest to fight any of the title holders for British Honours, with a dismantling of Matt Montague.  Matt was coming off a KO win in his last fight. However in this one Matt started getting hurt from the first round onwards until the referee stopped the action midway through the fifth.  

Kris landed low kicks in the first which caused Matt to change stance to avoid them.  The second saw some of Kris's trademark knees crunching into Matt's ribs.  More knees in the third plus some good control with the jab and left kick.  The fourth saw Matts nose cut and bleeding heavily from punches sent during angry exchanges. During the fifth Matt got dropped for an eight count with the left body shot, after which Kris immediately followed up with another body shot and a knee to the head before the referee stepped in to stop the fight. Ouch!!

Kris fights again on the Leeds Town Hall show on June 26th against Irish fighter Dave O'Brian in an A- Class match.
