Kao Loi Thai Boxing

The first interclub was at Ricky Richardsons new gym in Halifax.  Our competitors were Ollie and Daniel.  Both were competing for the first time, with Chanelle looking after them in the corner.  Both guys did the club proud with some vigorous competition sparring.  Both contests were draws and they are looking forward to the next opportunity to compete.

The second interclub was at Grandmaster kevins gym in Oldham.  Chanelle and Pierre took the young guns..Harry, Harry Brecken, and "Pocket Rocket" Ryan Grange.  Harry Brecken was up first and showed excellent kicks (mostly double kicks) and movement.  Ryan showed some good work against a taller strong opponent, pushing forward and scoring with good low and mid section kicks, and good clinch.  Harry's opponent was title holder Andrew Lofthouse!  Harry was excellent in the face of such an experienced foe, and used his punches and kicks to good advantage.

Gradings were also held and white armbands were achieved by Gary Scaife, Kathryn Searle, and Stacey Perez.  Yellow and White armbands were achieved by Agi Wlazlo and Jonathan Gill.
