Kao Loi Thai Boxing

Whilst training at Jitti Gym in Thailand Harry Ettridge took a fight against a local Thai fighter at MBK Stadium.  The fight was matched at 64kg and with 3 days notice.

The fight began with both fighters looking very calm as they started to look for weaknesses.  It soon became clear to Harry that the Thai was not defending well against attacks to the head.  Harry landed some good hooks and high kicks, whilst the Thai was looking to kick and knee.  As the round progressed Harry followed his punches with a well timed knee which landed solidly, and the round ended with him ahead.

In the following round the Thai stepped on the gas and began to press forward looking to defend kicks and then attack with his own kicks and clinch.  Harry remained calm and a short way into the round threw a high kick over the Thais guard and it landed perfectly and dropped the Thai.  After the count of ten, with the Thai unable to continue, Harry celebrated his first pro win.
