Harry Ettridge wins at Pegasus Show

Good Performance for Harry

Harry got his opportunity to put into practice some of his considerable developments since his first defeat last year.  He has worked very hard and this fight was to be 3kg lower than his first outing.

His opponent was Adam Richardson from Soul Of Suckhothai in the NorthEast.

Harry began well putting together punch and kick combinations.  His corner team, Paul Pranczke and Chanelle McGill, urged him to stick to this approach in the first two rounds.  He did this well althought the fight remained fairly even.

Going into the third, Paul asked Harry to close the range and begin to clinch Adam.  This proved to be the deciding moment of the fight because harry found that he was able to dominate his opponent with this tactic.  Harry landed some strong knees in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, and was awarded the points win.

It shows that he has come a long way since his last fight which he lost in the clinch!

Well Done Harry
