Kao Loi Thai Boxing

On March 28th in Glaqsgow Duncan fought for the vacant GBMTO title at 59kg.  The opponent was Stevie Lochead from the BBG Barrhead gym in glasgow.

Both fighters weighed in at almost the same weight although Duncan had a significant height advantage.  Duncan had trained very well despite taking the fight at a week's notice.

The fight began with Duncan immediately bringing pressure to bear on Stevie who is well known to very skilful.  He closed the ground and initiated the clinch during which he managed to land some knees to the head, especially in round 2.

After a dominant round 2 Duncan increased the pressure and pushed hard for more knee strikes to the head,  Stevie could not find an answer for this kind of pressure and retired in the 3rd round.

Well Done to Duncan.   The rematch has been scheduled for May 16th on the harrogate show at Manhattan Snooker Centre.
